Subscription Terms & Billing Policy

1. Subscription Tiers

MacroMint offers the following tiers. Exact pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by country due to local pricing and taxes.

Feature availability may change. We will provide reasonable notice of material reductions to paid-tier features.

2. AI Credits

AI credits are a consumable in-app resource used for AI-powered features (food photo recognition, recipe generation, NLP food parsing). Each AI operation deducts one or more credits from your balance.

• Free accounts receive 3 AI credits at registration.
• Pro accounts receive a monthly credit allocation (quantity displayed at purchase and in the App).
• Credits do not roll over between billing periods.
• Credits are account-specific and are not transferable.
• Credits consumed in completed AI operations are not refundable, even if the App result was unsatisfactory.
• We reserve the right to adjust credit allocations with reasonable notice.

3. Billing & Payment

All subscription billing is processed by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play). MacroMint does not store or process payment card information.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual).
• Renewal charges are made within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Prices are as displayed in the App at the time of purchase. We will give at least 14 days' notice of price increases for existing subscribers.
• Taxes may be added by Apple or Google depending on your country of residence.

4. Free Trial (if offered)

MacroMint may offer free trial periods for paid tiers. If a free trial is offered:

• The trial duration and any limitations will be clearly stated in the App.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial.
• You will be charged the applicable subscription price at the start of the first paid period.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.

How to cancel on iOS: Open the App Store → Tap your profile photo → Subscriptions → MacroMint → Cancel Subscription.

How to cancel on Android: Open Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → MacroMint → Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling does not delete your account. To delete your account and data, go to Settings → App Settings → Delete Account.

6. Refunds

MacroMint does not issue refunds directly. All refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google:

• Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
• Google: Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions or contact Google Play Support.

Apple and Google apply their own refund policies. MacroMint has no control over refund decisions made by Apple or Google.

7. Auto-Renewal Disclosure (Required by App Store Guidelines)

MacroMint Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to Account Settings after purchase.

8. Changes to Subscription Plans

We may modify subscription features or pricing with reasonable advance notice. Material changes to paid-tier features will be communicated via in-app notification or email. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

9. EU Consumer Rights

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you may have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. However, if you have already used the service during the withdrawal period (e.g., consumed AI credits), you may lose the right to a full withdrawal.
